Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate one bit, it was overcast, and to add insult to injury, about 15 minutes before the totality began, it started to rain.
Below there are a few pics I took from the roof of my school, a bit before and during the totality – that was downtown Shanghai around half past nine this morning...
